Alternate Uses For Royale Toilet Paper; Plus, Win Stuff!

Toilet paper sometimes gets a bad rap as a “one trick pony” but I can think of hundreds of different uses for it. For one, 90% of all school projects wouldn’t even get off the ground without toilet paper rolls. That’s why I am celebrating Royale’s 50th birthday by trying to come up with a list of all the things you can do with toilet paper, other than, you know…

To celebrate even more, I am giving away a cool Royale prize pack as well! Here’s what is up for grabs:

  • A white ROYALE bathrobe (Lounge around like a BOSS!)
  • A plush ROYALE kitten (Because Cats Rule!)
  • The ROYALE 50 years of kitten-y softness commemorative book – a priceless addition as it isn’t available for purchase (Hear that? PRICELESS!)

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below sharing an alternate use for toilet paper. That’s it. Seriously, you know you want that bathrobe. Giveaway is open to residents of Canada, excluding Quebec and closes on Friday, Feb 14th at 5pm.

In the meantime, check out this video I made, which demonstrates how I use Royale toilet paper to parent my children! Good Luck!

    Omgggoodness cute video!
Other than the regular uses for royal toilet paper it is great for paper mache and other crafts. I have also used it to hold balloons up in front of my daughters door when it was her birthday and I wanted to have the balloons fall on her when she opened her door in the morning

Are you freaking serious?! Just awesome.

My best alternative use of toilet paper, which I have never done nor will ever do again…. tee peeing a house. It makes a great outdoor decoration and if you buy the biodegradable kind it will slowly degrade on its own versus picking up.

It also makes for great kitty entertainment when you are not home. Lots of fun for them. Just leave a roll hanging on the holder and upon returning home… it is everywhere throughout your home like you just had a confetti party!!

I use it for face strips. I’ll explain how, I use an egg white, mix it till it is a bit frothy and smear it over my face, focusing on blackhead prone areas. Then I take toilet paper and using a brush, I paint them onto my face with the egg whites. Let it dry, peel it off and Voila!

Oh my goodness. I love this video. It’s adorable. Toilet paper sheets are great for bad guy surfing (little Lego people) and the rolls make some bawss binoculars :)

I’d say to stuff my bra but that sounds bad (I actually remember that from a Judy Blume book I read as a kid!). I use toilet paper as an alternative to cotton balls for when I want to remove my nail polish

I keep a roll in a plastic bag in my car for whatever wipe-off or wipe-up it would be needed for. Coffee spill when no napkin or cloth could be found. Dip stick wiper, bird doo doo off the car, etc.

Good thing you used Royale softness, any other tp and you would be reported to the authorities.
When my kids were little we used to make tp roll binoculars – they were safe, if Jr fell on them they would collapse
One year we used them to make napkin rings. The mother-in-law was not impressed. So now we use them every family holiday. Great fun.

Toilet paper is good for a multitude of things, picking up spills, wiping things, using the empty rolls as pet toys… But me? I like to shove little pieces up my nose when it’s cold season and I’ve got a runner. Haha.

Well, if you ask my cat he will tell you the best thing to do with toilet paper is to eat it (we have to keep it under lock and key pretty much as toilet paper appears to be his most favourite snack). We use toilet paper for blowing our noses, wiping up the kids faces, and occasionally I use it to clean up around the toilet (by occasional I mean every time one of my kids – i have 5 boys – goes to the washroom, especially my 5 and 6 year olds who insist on standing but have terrible terrible aim).

We have used toilet paper at wedding showers for a game when you get in pairs and one makes a wedding dress on the other. Always good to see a new creation and good for a few laughs!

I used to stack up toilet paper rolls into a pyramid when my daughter was younger. She had a lot of fun knocking it over by throwing/rolling something into it or just jumping on it herself. Best of all they are nice and soft so nobody gets hurt!

When we were in Grade 9, some girls would use toilet paper to “fill out” their bra. I completely forgot about it until you asked the question. lol

I keep a roll in the car at all times for emergencies. Great for cleaning off dip stick with checking the oil, whipping windows when steamed up, and just in case there is an emergency stop on a long drive. Your idea is a smart one.

The best alternate use for toilet paper is as a cat toy!! Just ask any cat, I’m sure they’ll tell you how fun it is to unroll the entire roll and shred it to bits!

I use it rolled up and stuffed in my nostrils when my nose is running and too raw to blow anymore! As for the empty cardboard rolls, they keep long cords (irons, blow dryers, tv and dvd players) in check. Just wind up the cord and stick er through the hole!

One great alternate use (for our two cats anyway) is a cat toy! So many times we have come home to torn up toiletpaper from one end of the hallway to the other

When dating my now husband, we lived in different cities and wrote letters to each other as there was no internet and expensive long distance phone calls. I once used a long strip of toilet paper to write my weekly letter on and it survived in the mail to surprise my boyfriend. Our toilet paper was thin back then, I should try it now with the newer version of paper. :)

I use it to touch up my makeup when I slip up when the mascara flakes under my eyes! Little makeup remover on the toilet paper, dab it on it, and the mascara is gone!

My alternative use would be to use some as a high end holiday decoration for my crabby neighbours trees! It’s a nice neutral colour so he can even keep it up all year round! ;)

I also weave a strip between my toes when I give myself a manicure. Keeps the polish neat, and my toes separated!
