Was I Not Supposed To Watch The Hunger Games

I’ve been lucky enough to have been invited to do some writing for the “Life Of Dad” website.

I decided to make my first post over there about my experience at the premiere for The Hunger Games last night.

Sooo, If you want to find out how I ended up on a National radio show because of my tweets or If you’re interested in finding out about my crazy 24 hours of emotions, from happy to depressed to happy again…

Oh Chris 🙂 Your guest feature was fantastic! It was honest which I love. And you are not old. We are just old compared to sniveling, crying, giddy teenagers, that’s all 🙂

Absolutely not Liz. It was a great movie but I don’t think it’s suitable for young kids. Although I guess they are all de-sensitized a lot earlier nowadays so what do I know, lol.

Read the guest post but have to say that I read the books and went to the movie last night of my own accord. I am 31, no kids, and actually enjoyed the books and the movie. I thought the books were well written and the movie did a great job of staying to the books.

I do think that the books themselves and the movie are a big graphic for the age range they are targeted for, though.

Ha!! “(and getting some blog plugs, haha I’m a ninja)” Is this going to become an inside CBN joke now? I feel like I got a plug or a mention without it actually happening. LOL! Fantastic Post!

Great post ( as always)! Totally NoT old! Saying this because I have a sneaky suspicion I’m older than you and that would make ME old 🙂 Obviously, Little One is too little for the movie, but my teen and teen nieces want me to take them to see it. Love how honest your posts are all the time 🙂
