Win a $20 Fine Silver Santa Collector Coin From The Royal Canadian Mint

It will come as no surprise to anyone who has read this blog for any length of time, that I am a complete geek at heart. I love comics and super heroes, but my real love is in collecting. I have had collections of everything from sports cards and stamps to bar coasters and match packs. I also have a love for coins. I mean, we all like money, but I am talking more about the kind of money that you look at as opposed to spend.

I was excited to hear that the Royal Canadian Mint had a new $20 for $20 collection, and even more excited that it included a Santa Claus coin, designed by Canadian artist Jesse Koreck. This is the perfect opportunity to introduce both of my children to one of my passions and it did not disappoint! The minute the kids say the Santa coin, they screamed “Money!!!” and immediately began plotting how they would spend their new fortunes. Okay, so it didn’t go exactly as I planned but they really loved seeing Santa on their money.

I am equally as excited to provide you, my amazing readers, with an opportunity to win one of these limited edition, fine silver, Santa collector coins. All you need to do is enter using the rafflecopter form below! These coins are limited to only three per household and they will sell out fast, so if you want to pick up a couple as gifts, you can do so buy visiting the Royal Canadian Mint’s Website.

Disclosure: I received a Santa coin for my participation in this giveaway.

Ooh, I want a DSLR camera; I’m tired of trying to make my phone pics look good! Lol My boys haven’t talked about much yet, surprisingly, but I see a LeapPad, a Beyblade Battle Station and some new video games in their future! 😉

With a baby about to be born, we’re just looking forward to getting to know the new baby. My son has only asked for rattles for the baby and other toys he can use to amuse the baby.

My kids are older, and as they get older they move away from toys and their Christmas lists fill up with things like iTunes/Claires/Garage gift cards and all kinds of gadgets. 🙂 They have received collector coins in the past, and it’s always gone over really well. They make a really nice keepsake stocking stuffer!

I most want to have a real hug from my daughter who lives far away. But I will need to have a virtual hug instead. Travel in Canada is way to expensive.

I almost had a heart attack when I thought I lost my centennial dollar bills my dad had given me. Money is so tight now, we don’t share gifts much anymore, but we still treasure the gathering on Christmas day and sharing a great meal.

My daughter want a kitten most of all for Christmas; however, we already have two rescue cats so we think that’s enough for our household.

What I want most for Christmas is to have my son and his girlfriend for a visit, but that will not happen because they are both working and living in Calgary. I have seen them both once in two years and that was a very short visit, because they were on holidays,
