Win a “The Dark Knight Rises” Prize Pack From @IMAX® (CAN/US)

Hey guys, if you are a Batman fan, I’m sure you’ve already seen “The Dark Knight Rises” by now. That doesn’t mean that I’m not still going to fill your briefcases with swag from the movie, courtesy of my friends at IMAX!

I was going to give my review of the film next, but then I realized a couple things. First, if you haven’t seen the movie, I will be the jerk that ruined it. Second, you don’t need me to tell you that the movie was awesome, do you?

Because it was!

If by chance you have not seen “The Dark Knight Rises” yet, this will be even better for you because part of the prize pack will include two IMAX movie passes! Here’s the rest of what you can take home if you are chosen as the winner:

* One 2 pack of IMAX ticket vouchers (ARV $42),
* Two different The Dark Knight Rises IMAX movie posters (ARV $20),
* Two different Adult Large t-shirts (ARV $20), and
* Three different The Dark Knight Rises IMAX mini posters (ARV $10 each)

That’s right, all of that from me to you. I’ll accept the virtual hugs or high fives, whatever you are more comfortable with. Before the rest of you get angry that you didn’t win, I forgot to mention something…I am not just giving away one prize pack, but two of these packages so you’ve just doubled you’re chances by simply reading this!

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment below telling me who your favourite Batman actor is. Maybe you are a Michael Keaton fan or you enjoyed the original Adam West character best. Maybe George Clooney is your Batman of choice…..okay, okay, let’s not go that far!

This contest closes October 17th at noon EST and is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United States. One entry per household please, contest is moderated.

Good Luck!

I’d have to say the Michael Keaton took the cake. He was the first actor to truly take Batman out of the Adam West campy phase and bring a truly legendary character to the big screen.

Not a large man or even that powerfully attractive, but he emulated the characteristics of a haunted man brilliantly. Re-watch the original Batman. Tell me you don’t get shivers and grin the first time he holds that punk over the ledge of the building and growls “I’m Batman.” Classic

    Cheers

Christian Bale has done a great job, I’m just not a fan of him in general (even though he’s a good actor). HOWEVER, Michael Keaton has been the best Batman in my opinion and reminds me that I’m overdue for a Batman marathon before I see tThe Dark Knight!

Michael Keaton is the best modern Batman IMO, but I grew up with Adam West as Batman and he’ll always be the original to me.

Adam West -I am not old enough to see the show when it was aired originally but I have seen it on retro tv. By far thebest with thesound effects and acting.

I do like Christian Bale in it, but sometimes find he “tries too hard” with the husky voice. SO, I guess I’ll make my pick Michael Keaton, because although both are awesome in the movies, he was just a tad bit more natural at it! 🙂

Christian Bale is my favorite. The raspy voice! hah They made a good choice by making him the new batman.

Christian Bale for sure! If he’d been in any of the original movies, I bet more people would pick him.

MMMMMMMM I was always a Michael Keaton fan. Just love him!

Other than the voice, I’ve really enjoyed Christian Bale’s take on the Dark Knight role, classy yet very independent.

Michael Keaton for sure. People were very skeptical about him playing Batman and he pulled it off beautifully. No gravelly voice required in order to be menacing. 🙂

Although it sounds cliche, I’d have to say Christian Bale, but Michael Keaton is a VERY close 2nd. There is nobody else worth mentioning.

My favourite Batman is the guy from the youtube video ‘batman chooses his voice’ but movie wise, I didn’t mind Keaton. Bale does bring the physicality to the role. Clooney had certainly had the eyebrows for it…

Christian Bale is my favourite Batman but my heart is with the Tim Burton Batman movies overall.
